About The Position

Federated Co-ops, Inc. is looking to hire a Cashier Deli to work out of our Isle Cenex location! As a Cashier Deli, you must be friendly, outgoing, and able to handle a fast-paced environment. Must have excellent customer service skills and be able to multi-task under pressure. This position receives cash from customers in payment for goods and services. Must be able to work various hours and shifts, be flexible and have a teachable attitude. Experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate. Responsibilities

Computes or re-computes bill, itemized lists, and tickets showing amount due.
Makes change, cashes checks, and issues receipts or tickets to customers.
Records amounts received and prepares reports of transactions.
Reads and records totals shown on cash register tape and verifies against cash on hand.
Quotes price and describes features of items for which money is received.
Gives cash refunds or issues credit memorandums to customers for returned merchandise.
Operates cash register by passing price coded items across electronic scanner to record price, compile printed list, and display cost of customer purchase, tax, and rebates on monitor screen.
Stocks shelves, counters, or tables with merchandise.
Prepares and stocks food.
Completes general housekeeping duties in store.
