About The Position

Proof of the Pudding (POP) is proud to provide the food and beverage services at Georgia International Convention Center. POP offers fine-quality concessions and catering for meetings, exhibit hall booths, conventions, and special events. Georgia International Convention Center includes a 9,800 sq. ft. state-of-the-art culinary arts center and Georgia's largest ballroom at 40,000 sq. ft. We are seeking a friendly and dependable Cashier to join our team at the Georgia International Convention Center (GICC). Key Responsibilities: Assist with minor card issues by communicating with management or directing customers appropriately. Maintain a welcoming, courteous, and professional presence at all times. Help manage the flow of customers to prevent crowding or delays. Keep the entry area clean, organized, and presentable. Contribute to a positive, team-oriented atmosphere. Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Must live near College Park, GA.
  • Must be available during events at the GICC.
  • Must enjoy interacting with customers in a friendly and helpful manner.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Positive attitude and team-player mindset.
  • Ability to work standing for extended periods.
  • Punctuality and reliability are a must.
  • Adherence to Company Uniform Requirements outlined in the Associate Handbook, uniform requirements outlined in your orientation guidelines.
  • Prolonged periods of standing at the check-in point.
  • Light bending, reaching, or lifting of small equipment or signage.
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.
  • Demonstrate comprehension of the job, including policies, practices, and relationships.
  • Possess the expertise and skill levels required of the job and perform with quality.
  • Dependable, reliable and follows through on projects from inception to completion.
  • Willing to put in as much time as necessary to complete tasks.
