The ideal candidate should have extensive buying experience as well as demonstrated ability to plan assortments independently, think strategically, analyze and interpret data, spot market trends, and collaborate with vendors. A detail-oriented and analytical mindset is a must along with a strong proficiency in Excel and a natural curiosity for the customer. You will be expected to thrive in ambiguous situations, take ownership of goals, and work in a fast-paced environment to deliver results. Much of this work will be cross-functional, working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure an optimal assortment. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who will take ownership of projects and business problems to drive successful results. You will utilize a wide range of skills and work across major functional areas such as supply chain, marketing, merchandising, pricing, and private brands to drive performance.
