DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following: Communicates with suppliers daily to understand quality, yields, pricing, and production Proactively shares commodity and market information to commercial team, enabling confident sales and growth Supports transactional, promotional, and contract pricing recommendations Maintains grower/supplier relationships and continually assist in ways to improve their performance using data Understands the customer base, to include product specifications and order patterns Aligns the right supply to the right customers, and communicate packing instructions to suppliers Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirements QUALIFICATIONS Required: High School Diploma or GED Minimum 2 years of fresh produce experience in category Ability to travel up to 5% (domestically and internationally) Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs Ability to work both independently and in a team environment Strong team player who thrives in a collaborative environment Excellent relationship building skills with customers, growers, and internal teams Strong written and verbal communication skills Able to negotiate effectively with suppliers Great attitude, with a desire to contribute, learn, and grow professionally Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to make data-driven decisions Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment, sometimes out of normal business hours Attention to detail with high standards for work; a customer service mindset Values a diverse and inclusive work environment Disclaimer: This job description is intended to generally describe the nature and level of work to be performed by employees in this position. Compensation Range $26.54 - $42.04 The base pay range displayed on the job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base pay for this specific location.
