About The Position

CDL Class B Delivery Driver – Drywall & Building Materials Lafayette, IN $25–$32/hr (based on experience) A leading building materials distributor in Lafayette, IN is hiring a CDL Class B Driver to deliver drywall and steel studs to construction sites. Drivers operate boom trucks and Moffett (truck -mounted forklift) equipment to unload materials directly inside job sites. This is an active role that combines driving with hands -on material delivery , ideal for drivers who enjoy staying physically active on the job. Drivers are responsible for safe transportation, DOT compliance, pre -trip/post -trip inspections, and job site deliveries , including unloading materials using boom cranes or Moffett forklifts. Most deliveries require physically handling drywall and steel studs into the job site , so candidates must be comfortable with physical work. The company operates a fleet including boom trucks, a Moffett truck, and flatbeds , and will provide certification training for boom crane operation for qualified drivers.

Requirements

• CDL Class B license
• Strong physical ability for material delivery
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, hours of service, and safety procedures

Nice To Haves

• Experience with boom trucks or Moffett forklifts (preferred but not required)
