The Cell Lead oversees the day-to-day operations of the assigned cell by planning, coordinating, supervising and directing the Cell team. This position ensures that all Cell Members meets the productivity and efficiency standards of the organization; identifies a problem and decides the appropriate course of action. Monitors and maintains workplace safety in the assigned Cell and shared areas. Ensures the Cell Team achieves their objectives and goals. · Essential Duties and Responsibilities: · Plan, determine optimal utilization of Cell Members and equipment to meet production goals. · Overseeing production process and ensures the process stays on schedule. · Coordinate Cell production with assistance from the Operations Manager. · Monitor Cell Members to ensure they meet performance and safety requirements. · Ensure proper training is conducted during the production process. · Assist in the correction (corrective action) of any production problems that may arise within the assigned cell, work with the Operations Manager and the Quality Manager in development and implementation of corrective and preventative action. · Ensuring all health and safety measures are used and/or performed at all times. · Notify the Operations Manager the need to purchase materials for the Production Department. · Ability to work quickly and accurately with attention to detail. · Ability to stand for extended periods of time. · Ability to work well with others. · Ability to multi-task. Education and Experience Requirements: · Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. · 4 years of Production Support experience preferred. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: · Team Orientation and Interpersonal – highly motivated, passionate and creative team-player with ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with all levels within and external to the organization. · Communication – able to effectively and persuasively express self verbally and in writing, using correct language and grammar in a professional, diplomatic and tactful manner. · Organization and Time Management – able to work independently with minimal supervision and a high degree of self-motivation and self-direction. Able to plan, schedule and organize professional schedule to complete actions within established deadlines, handling multiple priorities with strong attention to detail in a high-pressured environment. · Project Management – able to prepare a plan that achieves stated objectives, establish, and meet project deadlines, modify plan to reflect changing priorities and successfully complete project. · Systems and Software – proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications, including Excel, Word and Outlook Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
