About The Position
The Center of Excellence Coordinator RN collaborates with the Center of Excellence team, supporting the development, implementation, and organization of the Total Joint Program, and requires collaboration between interdisciplinary team members. · The Total Joint Coordinator plays a vital role in patient experience and throughput, performing follow-up communication and documentation for all total joint patients. · Serves as the clinical resource for joint replacement care, best practices by educating nurses, patients and physicians, monitoring patient care in real time, and advocating for necessary elements of care. · Ensure compliance with hospital policies, Joint Commission standards, and other regulatory requirements. · Support data collection and reporting for orthopedic registries or accreditation programs (e.g., The Joint Commission’s Advanced Certification for Total Hip and Total Knee Replacement). · This role assists the Center of Excellence Manager with report generation and review, process improvement, staff education, and patient satisfaction
