About The Position

Overview: Sentara Pace is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a CNA. Position Status: Part Time, 20 weekly hours - Day Shift Position Location: Norfolk, VA Pay Range: $16.92 - $25 We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. Overview Performs basic and routine patient care, such as personal hygiene, toileting, meal preparation and feeding, checks vital signs, intake/output, ambulation and assists patient with transfer from/to bed, toilet and other areas of the PACE center or in the home.

Requirements

Graduate of a state approved Nursing Assistant program/Trade School program (Required)
For applicants having recently completed an approved Nursing Assistant Program/Trade School program, state CNA certification required within 120 days of hire.
New hires with existing state CNA must be in good standing.
American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Performs basic and routine patient care, such as personal hygiene, toileting, meal preparation and feeding
Checks vital signs, intake/output, ambulation
Assists patient with transfer from/to bed, toilet and other areas of the PACE center or in the home.
