About The Position

Overview: Sentara Pace is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a CNA. Performs basic and routine patient care, such as personal hygiene, toileting, meal preparation and feeding, checks vital signs, intake/output, ambulation and assists patient with transfer from/to bed, toilet and other areas of the PACE center or in the home.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a state approved Nursing Assistant program/Trade School program (Required)
  • For applicants having recently completed an approved Nursing Assistant Program/Trade School program, state CNA certification required within 120 days of hire.
  • New hires with existing state CNA must be in good standing.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
