About The Position

The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant provides skilled, patient-centered therapy services in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. The COTA supports residents in improving functional independence, safety, and quality of life through individualized therapeutic interventions. Works in a supportive rehab environment delivering short-term rehab, long-term care, and restorative services.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program required.
  • Active COTA license in the state of New Hampshire required.
  • BLS certification preferred.
  • Prior experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long-term care setting preferred.
  • Must be able to work full-time weekday hours with flexibility for occasional weekends and floating as needed.
  • Strong communication skills, time management, and ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary rehab team are essential.

Nice To Haves

  • BLS certification preferred.
  • Prior experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long-term care setting preferred.
