Requirements

  • We expect all Scout employees to have integrity, curiosity, resourcefulness, and strive to exhibit a positive attitude, as well as a growth mindset.

  • You’ll take a collaborative approach to achieve ambitious goals.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in an automotive environment, preferably in a Change Coordination or Program Management role.
  • Strong communication skills - interpersonal, presentation and written w/ ability to guide cross-functional teams to successfully meet deadlines
  • Proven track record of being a part of automotive projects from concept phase to series production
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple project teams simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Excellent strategic thinking and criteria-based decision-making skills
  • Proven (technical) problem solving skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with VW Group processes and tools (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Report directly to the Change Management Lead of Scout Motors
  • Coordinate incoming change requests for Scout vehicles and the Scout Platform and track their execution through the central change management software (AVON)
  • Proactively review, challenge, and validate the quality, completeness, and plausibility of all change requests and deviation permits, coordinating adjustments by engaging cross-functional stakeholders prior to the central Change Management Committee review
  • Participate in relevant Main System meetings as the Change Management representative; align open topics and drive change requests to timely decision within the central Change Management Committee
  • Facilitate discussions with cross-functional teams to review progress, address risks or challenges, and drive alignment toward effective implementation
  • Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure data accuracy
  • Lead the preparation and cross-functional alignment of decision documents related to change management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, collaborating across internal teams to ensure timely and effective execution of requirements and change management activities in support of program milestones
  • Maintain close communication with leadership within the product line
  • Provide input to improve Scout processes for Change Management
  • Provide guidance and support to cross-functional team members on related processes and tools
  • Stay current on industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements affecting the automotive sector

  • Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience.
  • The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
  • Initial base salary range = $110,000 - $135,000
