Job Description: This job is responsible for executing strategies through physical and electronic channels for a specific Line of Business. Key responsibilities include performing project and program management, conducting risk assessments, resolving problems, and supporting governance processes associated with changes to the bank's physical branch network and investment strategy. Job expectations may include coaching and training teammates. The FC Planning Specialist supports and leads work across multiple channels and LOBs, providing clear written and verbal communication in program management and process design

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience with intermediate Excel skills (dashboards, pivot tables, and complex formulas) and strong data analysis capability
  • Overall understanding of FC strategy
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, OneNote, Outlook, and SharePoint
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional or cross-channel initiatives
  • Experience with process mapping, workflow design, or continuous improvement
  • Strong project management skills including timeline management and stakeholder alignment
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, self-directed environment with multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication, organization, and relationship‑building skills

  • Exposure to operational excellence or strategic methodologies
  • Strong business acumen related to retail operations, field operations, or LOB interdependencies

Responsibilities

  • Acts as a process designer, project manager, and analyst to ensure all planning and readiness activities are completed in a consistent and timely manner
  • Manages programs and processes that support adoption strategies and drive client, prospect, or employee engagement
  • Prepares and documents risk assessments for governance or other forums and integrates feedback from leadership and partners
  • Executes assigned projects and tasks with a sense of urgency and ensures performance remains within stated tolerances and thresholds
  • Identifies improvements for designated project work and drives change implementation
  • Builds cross-organizational relationships to facilitate successful execution of work
  • Leads monthly and quarterly planning processes to ensure accurate and timely site setup, renovations, and channel-specific deliverables.
  • Builds, maintains, and refines SharePoint lists, workflows, and planning tools to improve efficiency and data quality.
  • Serves as project lead across Retail, Vendor, and digital channels to align timelines, requirements, and execution.
  • Facilitates collaboration with internal partners and external vendors to ensure alignment and timely completion of deliverables.
  • Develops intermediate Excel models, dashboards, and reporting tools to support planning and executive communication.
  • Translates complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Evaluates, designs, and optimizes planning processes.
  • Leads medium–large cross-channel initiatives including scoping, planning, timeline creation, risk identification, and progress tracking.
  • Creates executive-ready presentations and communication materials to drive clarity, alignment, and decision-making.
  • Builds strong relationships with business partners, providing strategic insight into dependencies and LOB impacts.
