About The Position

As a core member of the ministry leader team, provides leadership and oversight for the ministry as a whole. Responsible for nursing, serving as the DON for their ministry, as well as direct accountability for all ministry operations. The CAO partners with the communities in which we serve in conjunction with the market CEO, CNO and CMO. Partners with corporate shared services for business, Legal, IT, HR and Finance for business strategies and support. Throughout communities in Illinois and Wisconsin, 13 hospitals, numerous community-based health centers and clinics, our 13,000+ colleagues have built a culture based on our solid core values of respect, care, competence, and joy. Requirements

• Master’s degree in business, healthcare administration, management, finance or related field is required or must be actively pursuing degree and graduate within 2 years of assuming the role.
• 7 years leadership experience role in a hospital or health system, multi-specialty group practice and/or integrated delivery system is required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice is required within 90 days of date of hire.
• Wisconsin: RNs may practice with a valid multi-state RN license as outlined in the Nurse Licensure Compact rules.

Nice To Haves

• Certification in Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) is preferred.
