About The Position

Southwestern Behavioral is seeking a Full Time Family Preservation Skills Coach Supervisor to add to our team of professionals. The Family Preservation Skills Coach Supervisor will provide overall clinical management and supervision of community-based services provided by Child and Family Community Resource Specialists. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human services required.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in working with children and families.
  • Must have demonstrated excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Candidates must pass required background checks including county/state checks, fingerprinting, CPS check, sex offender registry check and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • Experience working with children who have serious emotional disturbances is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-going clinical supervision and consultation for all Family Preservation SDS staff providing community-based services.
  • Train SDS staff per established standards of Family Preservation including delivery of quality services and accurate, timely documentation.
  • Coordinate with necessary staff to assign cases and monitor caseloads.
  • Provide on-call clinical backup for line staff outside the normal working hours.
  • Ensure compliance with all Southwestern policies and procedures including clinical documentation and billing requirements.
  • Evaluate and monitor staff productivity to ensure compliance with agency expectations.
  • Work cooperatively with other Southwestern staff to coordinate and monitor services provided to families.
  • Monitor quality of services by direct supervision and contacts with clients.
  • Will maintain a small caseload of clients referred for community-based services.
  • Commit to annual professional and skills development opportunities.
  • Demonstrate the ability to assess and respond to psychiatric emergent situations.
  • Provide consultation and education activities to community and professional groups as needed.
  • Provide staff training as required.
