About The Position

Job Summary: Provides a safe, loving environment for children that fosters positive self-concepts. Provides day-to-day communication to parents, co-workers, and supervisors. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent ( e.g., certificate of high school equivalency) at hire.
  • Florida Department of Children and Families’ (DCF) Introductory Child Care (45-hour training course) completion (including passed competency examination) within ninety (90) days post-hire.
  • One (1) year of job-related experience

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood or Child Development.
  • Three (3)+ years of job-related experience.
  • Child Development Associate (CDA) issued by the FL Department of Children and Families
