The Administrative Childcare Lead is a dynamic role combining administrative responsibilities with hands-on support in the childcare environment. This individual will assist with office operations, support classroom staff, deliver designated childcare medical services, and ensure thorough documentation of child-related services. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a childcare or educational setting; administrative experience a plus.
  • CPR/First Aid and Universal Precautions certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic data entry software.
  • Effective communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
  • Able to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to frequently stand, walk, and actively engage with children.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds may be required.
  • Offer contingent upon the succressful completetion of a criminal background check, dependernt adult and child abuse background check, and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field preferred.
  • administrative experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Complete assigned office tasks such as attendance tracking and basic correspondence.
  • Maintain accurate child and staff files in compliance with organizational policies and licensing standards.
  • Assist in tracking and submitting required reports and documentation.
  • Provide daily support and supervision of children and staff in classrooms, recreational, and transition settings.
  • Administer medications and medical services as trained and required.
  • Assist Classroom Lead Teachers in delivering goal-based and lesson-planned activities.
  • Accurately document all service delivery, child observations, and incidents.
  • Input data related to child goals and services in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Work collaboratively to ensure high-quality, child-centered documentation.
