About The Position

As the CI-Ops Information Analyst Intern , you will join the Customer Implementation and Core Operations (CI-Ops) team working on real business problems through data analytics, reporting, and process improvement. You will partner closely with business and technical teams to improve access to data, modernize reporting, and support efforts to streamline manual processes. Your work will directly supports Premera’s mission by improving how teams access, analyze, and use information to make better decisions and operate more efficiently . Program Details and Requirements: Premera’s Summer Internship Program is June 15th – August 21 st 2026 . To be eligible for the program, you must currently be enrolled in either an undergraduate or graduate degree program or have recently obtained your degree (within the last 12 months). This is a hybrid internship program located on our campus in Mountlake Terrace, WA.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Analytics, Informatics, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or similar) .
  • Strong interest in data, analytics, and reporting .
  • Comfort working with data and learning new tools and systems .
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems with minimal direction .
  • Strong communication and analytical skills .
  • Please include a cover letter with your application answering the following in 200 words or less for each question: Describe a time when you deliberately learned or developed a new skill. What motivated you, and how did you apply what you learned? Describe a time you used data or analytics to solve a business problem or inform a decision. How did you approach the problem, and what insights or outcomes resulted ?
  • Please confirm that you can meet the hybrid work requirements, including weekly commuting to the Mountlake Terrace campus this summer.
  • Please confirm your anticipated or prior graduation date.

Responsibilities

  • Developing or enhancing reports and dashboards to support operational and leadership decision making
  • Improving access to data by helping surface, organize, and analyze operational, policy, or configuration information
  • Performing data analysis to identify trends, gaps, or insights that inform business decisions
  • Identifying manual or repetitive processes and supporting efforts to streamline or automate them
  • Supporting efforts to make data more actionable and usable across the organization
