Qualifications Classification & Compensation Specialist I: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent + 1 year of experience in compensation administration, human resources, customer service, or closely related field. Classification & Compensation Specialist II: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent + 3 years of experience in compensation administration, human resources, or closely related field. Classification & Compensation Specialist III: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent + 5 years of experience in compensation administration, human resources, or closely related field. Compensation and classification is based on the analyses of the above qualifications during the recruitment process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent + 1 year of experience in compensation administration, human resources, customer service, or closely related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent + 3 years of experience in compensation administration, human resources, or closely related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent + 5 years of experience in compensation administration, human resources, or closely related field.
  • Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
  • Analytical and report writing skills.
  • Oral, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to deal with sensitive information in a confidential manner.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong database administration and spreadsheet skills.
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification.
  • Two years of experience in compensation administration, human resources.
  • TAMU experience.
  • Experience in applying and interpreting FLSA regulations.
  • Experience with database, spreadsheet, and word processing programs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration, including coursework in compensation administration.
  • Workday knowledge and experience.
