About The Position

This position performs a variety of tasks to assist Law Enforcement Office with the completion of required administrative duties not limited to: CLERICAL SPECIALIST I Job Duties Provide administrative support for Attorneys. Work within designated deadlines with accuracy. Perform special and unique assignments in support of the Assistant State Attorney's prosecution of criminal and misdemeanor cases. Dependable and routine in-office attendance during regularly scheduled business hours. Review and promptly respond to all electronic messaging. Perform quality work within deadlines. Configure contracts for diversion programs. Perform all duties as required. Correspond with outside Agencies, Defense Attorneys and Defendants. Answer phone calls and provide back-up when needed too the reception desk.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalency
  • Two (2) years of secretarial/clerical experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Work effectively as a team contributor as well as independently.
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to read and comprehend.
  • Ability to operate the telephone system and respond to calls promptly and professionally.
  • Ability to operate computer to include effective keyboard skills.
  • Ability to follow rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Effective communication skills to include the ability to interact professionally with other employees, members of the public and stakeholders.
  • Ability to multi-task.
