About The Position

The role requires an individual to manage and maintain client relationships. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing management accounts, handling payroll, carrying out secretarial duties, and performing various administrative tasks as required by our client’s portfolio, under the supervision of a Team Manager.

Requirements

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office; previous experience with Sage Pastel Evolution is considered an asset
  • Sound knowledge of IFRS and GAPSME reporting standards
  • A positive attitude with strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience within the corporate services sector will be considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Managing a portfolio of clients and providing a comprehensive range of services, including accounting, administrative, secretarial, and related duties
  • Preparing financial statements and liaising with auditors
  • Handling tax reporting, payments, and correspondence with tax authorities
  • Preparing VAT returns and ensuring ongoing compliance
  • Acting as a primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients and responding to their queries
  • Processing client payroll where applicable
