Dark Burn Creative is hiring entry-level Gameplay Specialists based in Woodland Hills, California. We are specifically seeking competitively ranked UFC players! Please note that this is a FREELANCE hourly position and requires in-office presence at our Woodland Hills, California location. Local candidates only, please. The opportunity: Are you passionate about gaming? Do you know every nook and cranny of EA UFC video games? Can you recite your favorite fighter’s stats by memory? Are you highly ranked in competitive UFC multiplayer? Would you like a career in capturing and saving video gameplay moments for trailers? If so, we'd love to learn more about you! This is a full-time, freelance role (you will be paid W2 payroll). The contract is estimated through the end of the year; however, we cannot guarantee the length of employment.
Requirements
- You're a walking encyclopedia of all things MMA and have sunk dozens of hours into EA Sports UFC video games.
- You're highly ranked as a current EA UFC competitive player (preferably Division 10 or higher in UFC 5).
- You have a keen eye for detail and love noting inconsistencies in sports play-by-plays.
- You pride yourself on your proficient PC skills and familiarity with popular mainstream gaming consoles (Xbox, PS5, Nintendo Switch, etc.).
- Your communication and time management skills are excellent.
- You're a positive influence in the workplace and a great team member.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Photography, Cinematography, or Digital Art is a plus.
- Quality assurance experience in the games industry a plus.
Responsibilities
- Capture and save incredible gameplay moments at the direction of your creative leads
- Craft precise shot lists detailing great gameplay sequences, camera angles & unique elements
- Get paid to play AAA Sports video games, specifically EA UFC video games
- Quality control related to game content and continuity
- Report bugs to the development team
