We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Client Service Manager to support the administrative and operational functions of our firm in our Overland Park, KS location. As the primary point of contact for our clients, this individual must bring a client‑first mindset, exceptional organizational abilities, and an unwavering commitment to service excellence. (This will be a on-site opportunity.) In this role, you will oversee all aspects of client service—ensuring proactive communication, maintaining high service standards, and strengthening relationships that contribute to the firm’s long‑term success. You will also play a key role in supporting firmwide initiatives, helping drive operational effectiveness, business growth, and continuous improvement. Success in this position requires enthusiasm for learning, adaptability to change, and a team‑oriented approach. At times, you’ll be called upon to assist colleagues outside the typical scope of your job description to help balance capacity and support shared goals. In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000 exclusive of bonuses and benefits. This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.

Requirements

  • 4-year degree preferred
  • 3-5+ years minimum of customer service experience is preferred, a commitment to exceptional service is required
  • Financial administration experience is needed.
  • Series 7 and 66 or 7, 65 and 63 licenses preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills required to develop team and client relationships
  • Professional presence and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and process
  • Good problem-solving skills, ability to work with deadlines and prioritize work
  • This position requires the ability to stand or sit for long periods of time, file documents in high or low cabinets, to use the telephone and to use the computer systems.

Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact for clients of your advisor and team
  • Respond to and resolve client requests, complete necessary financial paperwork, change beneficiaries, establish trusts, etc.
  • Serve clients by setting up accounts and ensuring their funds transfer from surrendering company; follow up on fund transfers
  • Ensure accurate completion of prospect/new client paperwork
  • Record incoming assets to the appropriate blotting tool

  • Respond to and resolve client requests (as part of post-review follow-up when applicable)
  • Learn company product suitability guidelines, financial operational processes, and financial sales processes
  • Support client service functions for all teams as requested
  • Transfer the broker-dealer accounts that are assigned to the Financial Consulting Center
  • Research and follow up on any issues with the Broker/Dealer, WEG Operations, and vendors
  • Maintain (CRM) database and client files (filing, copies, data input)
