About The Position

The Clinical Operations Manager is a senior operational leader responsible for the oversight, coordination, and enforcement of clinical service delivery across the organization. This role exists to ensure that clinical operations are legally compliant, operationally efficient, fiscally responsible, and aligned with evidence-based standards of care. The Clinical Operations Manager functions as the enforcement arm between executive leadership, case management, and frontline clinical staff, translating policy into practice and holding the clinical enterprise accountable for outcomes, documentation integrity, and regulatory compliance. This is a hybrid position with remote responsibilities and required in-person collaboration. The Director of Clinical Operations will be expected to travel to the organization’s Waverly, OH office approximately 2–3 days per week to support clinical leadership, operational meetings, and team collaboration.

Requirements

  • Active clinical license (minimum RN) in good standing.
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive clinical experience, with at least 3 years in clinical operations, management, or supervisory leadership.
  • Demonstrated expertise in healthcare regulatory compliance, clinical documentation standards, and operational risk management.
  • Proven ability to lead under regulatory scrutiny and enforce accountability across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Direct, coordinate, and evaluate daily clinical operations to ensure services are delivered safely, efficiently, and in strict compliance with federal, state, and payer specific requirements.
  • Establish and enforce standardized clinical workflows, protocols, and performance expectations across all service lines.
  • Monitor patient care delivery to ensure adherence to clinical standards, scopes of practice, and organizational policies.
  • Direct, coordinate, and evaluate daily clinical operations to ensure services are delivered safely, efficiently, and in strict compliance with federal, state, and payer specific requirements.
  • Monitor and coordinate strategic scheduling to ensure utilization of authorized staffing hours is maximized to its fullest potential and fiscally driven staffing decisions are prioritized.
