Reviews, evaluates and dispenses individual drug orders including unit dose medications, intravenous additive preparations, total parenteral nutrition, chemotherapeutic agents, and investigational agents; interacts with nurses and prescribers to consult on medication and treatments along with drug therapy; monitors the drug therapy and offers cost effective alternatives, as appropriate; counsels patients in the proper use of prescribed drugs; oversees and directs pharmacy technician staff in the execution of technical functions. This is a temporary-benefited position with a starting salary of $138,234 with an additional geographic differential of $6,007. This includes a full comprehensive benefits package.
