You will plan, organize, staff, and direct client care on a daily operational basis, ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Master’s Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, psychiatric nursing, or a closely related field
• At least three (3) years of professional experience in the treatment or behavioral health of substance use disorders
• Thorough knowledge of clinical best practices and techniques related to mental health and substance use disorder treatment services
• Knowledge of policies, procedures, and regulations of the program
• Considerable knowledge of methods and modalities, as well as legal requirements and court procedures related to treating mental health and substance use disorders
• Skilled in effective supervision and training methods
• Ability to develop, coordinate, and evaluate services within assigned program responsibilities
• Effective verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other agencies in the communities served
• Participate in the selection of off-site resources for needed services and inform other agencies about the services offered by the organization
• Complete monthly/quarterly record reviews, ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
• Facilitate weekly clinical case staffings, team, and diagnostic disposition meetings
• Conduct intakes, individual, family, and group therapy as needed
• Complete and review written reports to referral sources in a timely manner
• Provide oversight for service delivery, ensuring services are appropriate and clinically justified
• Monitor progress notes for thoroughness and completeness
• Develop evolving programmatic schedules to meet client needs
• Coordinate services and collaborate with outside agencies
• Adhere to and monitor program budget, managing services and reviewing units of service for each client
• Provide uninterrupted coverage by scheduling staff and arranging substitute coverage
• Complete team member evaluations, providing clinical direction and supervision
• Ensure orientation, in-service training, and continuing education for staff members
• Respond to crisis situations and ensure incident reporting is completed
• Develop and implement QM measurement systems to promote continuous improvement
• Oversee team communication, addressing complaints and developing plans to address program concerns
• Assist in quarterly reports and indicators, participating in QM meetings
• Secure appropriate referrals from other service providers
• Oversee environmental conditions in terms of safety, cleanliness, and coordination with operations associates
