About The Position

The Clubhouse Landscaper is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, care, and beautification of all landscape areas surrounding the clubhouse, event center, pool, and related facilities. This role plays a vital part in creating the first impressions and lasting memories our members and guests experience. The ideal candidate takes pride in their craft, has a keen eye for detail, and appreciates the opportunity to work in one of the most scenic private club settings in the country.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to operate standard landscape equipment (mowers, blowers, trimmers, etc.).
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to be reliable, punctual, and self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow written and oral directions.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize responsibilities and to work independently.
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures and to work quickly and efficiently.
  • Ability to maintain personal hygiene.

  • Ability to maintain professionalism and image of the Stock Farm Club.

  • Must be able to pass employment background check and motor vehicle record checks.
  • Must possess valid driver’s license in accordance with the laws of the State of Montana; must be insurable under the company’s auto insurance policy.
  • Must be able to work variable schedule or irregular hours to include last-minute scheduling needs/changes and working split shifts based on needs of the Club operations and scheduled events.
  • Must be able to work holidays, weekday, weekend, and evening/late evening hours as required.
  • Ability to work outside in adverse weather conditions as needed and to walk on uneven ground.
  • Ability to perform same-day travel on Stock Farm Property and within local geographic region.

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years’ prior experience in landscaping, horticulture, or grounds maintenance.
  • Experience working with native plants, boulders, and natural landscape materials common to the Rocky Mountain West.
  • Experience in a private club, resort, or luxury hospitality environment.
  • Familiarity with irrigation systems and basic troubleshooting.
  • Pesticide/herbicide applicator license or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

  • Performs daily and seasonal maintenance of all clubhouse landscape beds, including mowing, edging, trimming, weeding, mulching, and debris removal.
  • Maintains and cares for ornamental plantings, native grasses, perennial shrubs, and trees throughout the clubhouse campus.
  • Installs seasonal colors and plant materials to enhance curb appeal and refresh landscape beds as directed
  • Operates and maintains irrigation systems, adjusting schedules seasonally and reporting any malfunctions promptly.
  • Monitors plant health and applies fertilizers, herbicides, and pest control products safely and in accordance with label instructions and club protocols.
  • Maintains hardscape areas including walkways, patios, entryways, and parking areas — sweeping, blowing, and keeping surfaces clean and presentable at all times.
  • Assists with snow removal and winter landscape maintenance as needed.
  • Supports special events by ensuring all outdoor spaces are pristine and event-ready.
  • Properly operates, cleans, and performs basic maintenance on landscape equipment and tools.
  • Works collaboratively with the Golf Course Maintenance team and other departments on shared projects and priorities.
  • Follows all Club safety policies, including proper handling of chemicals and safe equipment operation.
  • Uphold the Club's high standards for appearance and professionalism in all interactions with members, guests, and fellow staff.
  • May perform other related duties as assigned.
