About The Position
For over 75 years Cascade Pump has been a leader in Low Lift high volume Industrial water pump manufacturing. We are looking for a CNC Machinist to program and operate horizontal and vertical Lathes for production of large industrial water pump parts.
Requirements
- G-Code programming experience
- Use of precision measuring equipment
- Willingness to run production parts
- Conceptual skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to read Blueprints and understand GD&T
- Basic math and algebra
- Experience machining castings and fabrications
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of parametric and macro-B programming
- Multi axis/ Y axis programming with live tooling experience
Responsibilities
- Modify existing programs for custom parts
- Write programs for new machines and new processes
- Fixturing design and setup
- Tooling selection and management
- Manage CNC program catalog
- Run Production Parts
- Inspect parts to print
- Communicate machine and manufacturing issues with management.
- Promote and practice Quality Awareness and Quality Culture within the Machine department.
