Responsible for machine operations and quality control/inspections. ☐Machine Operator – CNC: Under minimal supervision: program and operate machinery to fabricate vacuum forming molds and tooling. Load and unload jigs and raw material in CNC machinery. Use gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements. Recognize, deploy and use: inserts, fixtures and tools. Perform daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on CNC machinery. Operate CNC routers per instructions. Comply with all quality policy specifications and instructions to satisfy ISO requirements. Follow established safety procedures; Read and understand blueprints. Assemble equipment; use of basic precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, and comparators. Determine specifications for high precision parts. Meet production quotas for machined parts. Other duties as assigned. ☐Machine Operator – Thermoforming Duties (Heavy Guage and Inline): Operate thermoforming equipment. Assist set up by removing old tools, install new tooling. Making machine adjustments and adjusting computer set points. Run the assigned machine efficiently meeting production goals. Assist operators and Team Leaders in troubleshooting thermoforming processes. Visually inspect finished parts to meet specifications. Work single operated jobs or duo operated jobs with other production team members. Demonstrates the proper use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safety procedures. Maintain a clean work area. Perform tool preparation. May require forklift certification. Follow established safety procedures. Other duties as assigned. ☐Machine Operator – Industrial Sewing Machine: Use industrial sewing machine to construct- Fabric seats per specification. Attach zippers to fabric or plastic enclosures per specification. Fabric and plastic enclosures per specification. Communicate needs for materials and supplies to supervisor or lead. Monitor and control labor hours to meet productivity standards. Other duties as assigned. ☐Machine Operator – Metal Fabrication: Use gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements. Operate metal working equipment such as shears, benders, drill presses and press brakes Recognize, deploy and use: inserts, fixtures and tools. Perform daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on metal-working machinery. Operate metal-working machines per instructions. Comply with all quality policy specifications and instructions to satisfy ISO requirements. Follow established safety procedures; Read and understand blueprints. Assemble equipment; use of basic precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, and comparators. Determine specifications for high precision parts. Meet production quotas for parts. Other duties as assigned. Machine Operator I and II: The levels of I and II are determined by the amount of skill and ability of the operator. Machine Operator I operates one machine. Machine Operator II operates multiple machines, cross trains and mentors other employees on the process.
