CNC Set Up Technician

Position type: Hourly Mi-Tech Tungsten Metals is hiring a skilled CNC Set-Up Technician to join our 2nd shift operation. We are looking for someone who has experience doing changeovers, setups, inspections, and can hit the ground running.
Requirements
- 3-5 years CNC Set up experience or related machining experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong analytical, mathematical and computer skills
- Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics and other documents
- Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Nice To Haves
- GD&T; Understanding how to use datums, feature control frames, and symbols to describe the conditions and tolerances of a part- a plus
Responsibilities
- Install tooling/work holding per instructions into the CNC equipment based on setup work instructions
- Set up the CNC equipment with correct work holding, tooling, and parts to perform the job
- Troubleshooting issues with machine programming
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers and other team members
- Inspect and maintain equipment
