About The Position

A Code Enforcement Specialist plays an active role in achieving long-term customer satisfaction in the context of Community Association relationships. Specific responsibilities will vary with designated communities and may include, but are not limited to: Inspecting properties for maintenance, landscaping, safety, and compliance issues and accurately recording findings.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Required.
  • 1+ years of administrative, clerical, and customer service experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and spoken.
  • Customer service driven, ability to prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and greet homeowners.
  • Build relationships with homeowners and members of the Board of Directors.
  • Walk and inspect community to ensure homeowners are following HOA rules and regulations.
  • Walk and inspect community to ensure maintenance concerns and repairs are being addressed.
  • Take notes, pictures, and document of findings.
  • Complete and submit reports to the General Manager and Board President.
  • Enter and update work orders for maintenance team.
  • Contact and schedule maintenance vendors onsite for repairs.
  • Attend board meetings to update homeowners and the board of Code and Compliance issues.
  • Respond to and investigate allegations of violations of codes to determine validity of complaints and the appropriate course of action to mitigate issues.
  • Investigate and enforce property codes within boundaries.
  • Schedule and perform systematic property maintenance inspections to maintain or achieve minimum property standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.
