About The Position
The Prestage Farms Mississippi 2026 College Internship Program is designed to provide students with a hands-on learning experience in the agriculture industry, specifically in pork production sector. Throughout this internship, participants will gain valuable insights into various aspects of our business and play a key role in the operations of our farms and production facilities. This internship program offers you the opportunity to: Work closely with experienced professionals in agriculture and learn about real-world applications in the industry. Assist with daily operations and special projects that will enhance your understanding of sustainable farming practices. Participate in training sessions, workshops, and networking events that will bolster your knowledge and career development. Contribute to team goals while gaining valuable experience working within a dynamic and collaborative environment. Interns will be assigned to different departments, where they will have the chance to work on various projects and tasks depending on their area of interest and expertise.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g., Agricultural Sciences, Animal Science, Business, or related fields).
- Strong desire to learn and develop a career in the agriculture industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and take initiative on projects.
