About The Position

TransMedics operates at the intersection of medicine, aviation, and logistics. Our Command Center coordinates the transportation and operational logistics that support organ transplantation across the country. Timing, precision, and execution are critical to patient outcomes. The Command Center Intern – Transplant Logistics will support operational activities within TransMedics’ logistics and aviation coordination functions. This role provides exposure to real-time operational decision-making, aviation training documentation, and ground support process development. This internship is ideal for students interested in supply chain, logistics, aviation operations, finance, or operational management.

Requirements

• High School Senior or College Freshman
• Interest in Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Aviation, or related field
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
• Comfortable working with operational data and documentation

Responsibilities

• Aviation Training & Documentation Assist with maintaining aviation-related training records and documentation
• Support process updates and standard operating procedure documentation
• Help organize training materials and compliance tracking
• Contribute to continuous improvement of aviation documentation processes
• Ground Support Operations Assist with billing support and documentation accuracy
• Support process creation and workflow improvement initiatives
• Help develop training materials and operational guides
• Participate in cross-functional coordination between logistics, finance, and operations teams
• Operational Exposure Observe and support Command Center coordination activities
• Assist with tracking operational metrics and reporting
• Support data entry and documentation tasks within logistics systems
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a time-sensitive environment
