Our Intelligent Systems segment in North America delivers software and hardware solutions to provide enhanced user experiences and increased safety. Your Role Aptiv is seeking a Commercial Lead to join our Intelligent Systems (North America) team. We are looking for an individual who is highly analytical, enjoys working cross functionally, and is driven to be a high-output team player. Most importantly – you will have a passion for results and driving growth opportunities in our business. You are comfortable with ambiguity and enjoy working in rapidly evolving environment on a variety of tasks that leverage your quantitative and qualitative skills, including but not limited to: driving a business case, completing financial analysis, challenging inputs from various stakeholders, building a go-to-market strategy, researching partnerships and competitors, or building a financial model. You are tenacious and aren’t afraid to push internal stakeholders on the information you need and what is feasible. The role requires the ability work independently and as you will own your workstreams, you will have to be both strategic and executional. You will work with a cross-functional team across finance, customer program management, supply chain, sales, and more. In this role, you will perform critical analyses and help inform the crucial decisions for commercial pursuits that will drive value for our customers, in a fast-paced technology environment. Requirements

  • BA / BS degree in business, engineering, science, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in finance, strategic planning, or a related role
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
  • Tenacity and perseverance to challenge cross-functional stakeholders, with the goal of driving the best commercial outcome for Aptiv
  • Experienced user of Excel and Powerpoint
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and business requirements
  • Able to balance practicality with depth when completing tasks
  • Experience and passion in working in a highly technical environment
  • Must be legally able to work in the U.S. without requirement of any type of visa sponsorship or transfer, now, or at any time in the future

  • Knowledge of the automotive industry or related sectors is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Drive high-impact customer quote responses across the region, ensuring exceptional quality, speed, and competitiveness to win business
  • Align cross-functional pursuit teams around a clear product and customer quoting strategy, enabling confident, coordinated execution
  • Own and maintain the R&O framework and cost assumption integrity, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and robust version control for every quote
  • Lead weekly leadership review of customer quotes, facilitating informed decision-making while ensuring precise documentation of approvals, risks, and required actions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members including technical product development, sales, engineering, creative and leadership, to drive product strategy and execution
