About The Position

The Commercialization Coordinator will support the Commercialization Department by working closely with the Director of Commercialization. The role involves managing projects from customer requests through R&D, supply chain, transportation, and quality, ensuring all departments are aligned for product trials and launches. This position focuses on project coordination rather than full project ownership, emphasizing significant cross-functional coordination and communication.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Food Science, Chemistry, or related field OR equivalent relevant experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in project coordination or project management in a Food & Beverage manufacturing setting.
  • Proven experience supporting cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize, and keep stakeholders aligned under tight timelines.
  • Working knowledge of New Product Introduction (NPI) or stage-gate style processes.
  • Strong capability in building and maintaining project plans, timelines, action logs, and risk registers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects from customer requests through various departments to ensure alignment for product trials and launches.
  • Coordinate new product commercialization projects from customer concept through production.
  • Serve as the main liaison between sales, R&D, supply chain, quality, and manufacturing teams.
  • Track project timelines, ingredient needs, and trial logistics for customer-driven initiatives.
  • Ensure all departments have the required resources and information for successful product launches.
  • Support project managers and act as the primary project coordinator in smaller teams.
  • Manage cross-functional teams evaluating the scope, timeline, and potential roadblocks of new commercialization projects.
  • Monitor and ensure best practices within each department for internal teams and customers.
  • Develop a solid understanding of key department roles, manufacturing processes, packaging formats, and fundamental beverage concepts.
  • Work with manufacturing facilities and supply chain to maximize commercialization efficiencies.
  • Collaborate, develop, and manage the commercialization process from inception to shipping.
  • Facilitate communication between manufacturing facilities and internal teams.
  • Monitor the pipeline of new projects and organize meetings to ensure timely completion.
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure proper flow of information to the customer.
  • Travel to manufacturing facilities to oversee commercial runs.
  • Develop procedures and policies to bring structure and clarity to the commercialization process.
