About The Position

The Commissions Analyst I is part of a top-tier finance accounting and analytics team. This individual should be an expert in process implementation and demonstrate proactiveness critical thinking and a passion for efficiency. The Commissions Analyst I is responsible for all facets of processing commission exceptions recognizing revenue and working with leadership on process efficiency and external carrier relationships.

High level of self-motivation; ability to accomplish goals independently
2+ years of experience in revenue operations accounting, finance, strategy and business operations or similar relevant experience required
1+ years of experience working with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets required

Insurance knowledge or experience preferred
Experience working with cross functional partners preferred

Responsibilities

Manages the commission reconciliation duties for the division at a policy level
Researches and resolve commission issues in communication with the carrier
Becomes intimately familiar with the commission structure for the firm
Assists in data management and integrity of the division
Resolves all policy level commission issues where data does not match that of the carriers
Prepares and maintains appropriate schedules and reports as requested.
Supports the development and optimization of the firms proprietary revenue tracking system
Researches accounts payable and accounts receivable issues as needed
Performs other duties as assigned from time to time by superiors
