About The Position

And our work depends on a Common Operational Picture/Common Tactical Picture (COP/CTP) Analyst joining our team to support Tactical Training Group and Expeditionary Warfare Training Group Pacific’s Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Cyber activities. This position is located at San Diego, CA on a government site. MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT Provide course support and instruction to the military staff instructors regarding instruction, mentoring, scenario development and course management. Provide instructional support using government provided facilities, equipment and training tools. Use topical SME instruction covering specific topics within tactical warfare, staff planning, and command and control. Instruction occurs throughout the continuum of classroom, forums, practical applications and wargames. Update related materials with the latest tactically relevant information. Participate in open forum tactical/planning discussions. Attend student briefs to evaluate and provide tactical and technical recommendations. The contractor shall provide tactical and system expertise during practical application and wargame execution. Observe wargames, providing feedback on student progress and recommending changes to accomplish training objectives. Provide assessments of student performance to military instructor for formal debrief Participates in special projects as required.

Requirements

  • A broad technical background, knowledge, skills and experience in Common Tactical Picture Management within a Navy Strike Group experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree, and five years of related experience.
  • In depth experience with Naval Strike Group or Fleet COP/CTP principles or experience managing Common Operational and Tactical Picture systems.
  • Experience implementing knowledge of fleet training methodologies/requirement or equivalent military experience.
  • Experience managing lessons learned to facilitate continuous product improvement.
  • In depth experience with fleet training methodologies/requirements or equivalent military experience.
  • Experience conducting technical troubleshooting and interoperability testing, evaluation and management of COP/CTP systems (preferably for a naval strike group or warfare commander staff).
  • Must have an active Secret clearance.
  • US Citizenship Required
