The Communications Intern position is a part of our Roblox 12-week summer internship program located in San Mateo, CA. As a Communications intern, you will work alongside the Communications team to support day-to-day.

Requirements

• Required: Pursuing a BS or higher level of education in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, Marketing, or related fields
• Passion for career in PR, writing and storytelling
• Strong organizational and relationship building skills
• Familiarity with or interest in using AI tools and automation to improve communications workflows

Nice To Haves

• Preferred: previous internship in PR/communications

Responsibilities

• Support media monitoring efforts, including tracking coverage, helping compile the daily media report, and updating monitoring trackers and metrics reports.
• Research media landscape/contacts and trends for specific story ideas and news placements.
• Draft materials including media pitches and briefing documents.
• Track and organize creator spokesperson opportunities, maintaining internal trackers and flagging emerging creators and games for media pitching.
• Organize and maintain shared resources and documentation across internal and agency teams (e.g., shared drives and trackers, messaging documents, approved statements).
