The Compliance Analyst serves as a member of the City of Hope Ethics and Compliance Department and coordinates system-wide export control compliance operations and processes, including the review of visas and international contracts, grants, travel requests, and outside activities, as needed to ensure compliance with federal international compliance laws and regulations. As a successful candidate, you will: Function as a liaison with all team members and promotes an understanding of export compliance and research security issues, laws, regulations and consequences of non-compliance. Triage, investigate and respond to export control and research security related inquiries, concerns and complaints. Conduct export control review and screening of visas and international contracts, grants, travel requests, and outside activities. Provide consultation and guidance to faculty/team members during the processing of various international compliance reviews. Act as a resource for research security compliance and export controls related inquiries, including receipt, evaluation and follow up.
