About The Position

Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is an integrated behavioral healthcare agency offering a variety of different programs throughout Arizona. CBI provides residential, outpatient, inpatient, patient-centered medical homes, medication-assisted treatment, and crisis services to individuals experiencing crisis, opioid use disorder, homelessness, and mental illness. Compliance Auditor Community Bridges, Inc. (CB I) is an integrated behavioral healthcare agency offering a variety of different programs throughout Arizona. CBI provides residential, outpatient, inpatient, physical health, medication-assisted treatment, and crisis services to individuals experiencing, substance use disorder, homelessness, and mental illness. CBI is the premiere non-profit fully integrated healthcare provider of substance use and behavioral health programs in Arizona, including prevention, education and treatment using cutting-edge, nationally recognized, evidence-based models. Job Summary The Compliance Auditor is assigned to the Standards and Compliance department and is responsible for compliance with the standards set forth by applicable governing bodies. This position, under the general supervision of the Compliance Manager, provides professional support in conducting compliance program activities that are necessary to operationalizing the CBI Compliance Plan. This includes conducting audits, investigations, analyzing data, and assessing the effectiveness of improvement plans designed to reduce compliance risks throughout the organization.

Requirements

  • Associates degree required. Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
  • Two years of healthcare or audit experience required.
  • Has knowledge and experience working with computer software including word processing and spreadsheets, statistical analysis and graphics.
  • Has knowledge and understanding of Medicaid requirements, Medicaid payment and methodologies and compliance program requirements.
  • Has knowledge of federal and state laws related to fraud, waste and program abuse, including the False Claims Act, Anti-Kickback and exclusions and conflicts of interests preferred.
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Current AZ Driver’s License or equivalent of state of residence.
  • Clear 39-month Motor Vehicle Record.
  • Fingerprint Clearance Card required.

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer one year of experience working in behavioral health and one year of experience conducting audits and investigations related to healthcare compliance.
  • Has knowledge of federal and state laws related to fraud, waste and program abuse, including the False Claims Act, Anti-Kickback and exclusions and conflicts of interests preferred.
