CSAT Solutions is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of a Computer Engineer II. Role and Responsibilities Lead the design, development, debugging, and optimization of Flying Probe test programs for laptop and tablet platforms Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, including test readiness, validation, and ramp support Analyze test and field failures, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions Develop and maintain preventive maintenance and calibration schedules for test equipment Create and update repair plans, work instructions, procedures, and troubleshooting documentation Provide technical support to engineering technicians and computer service operations Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing practices Track, analyze, and report internal and external KPIs; lead actions to improve yield, test coverage, and cycle time Collaborate on cross-functional projects across engineering, quality, and operations teams Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and applicable quality management systems Participate in stakeholder meetings and communicate technical status, risks, and progress effectively Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational and business needs

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline
15 years of experience in hardware test, manufacturing, or repair engineering
Experience developing, tuning, and maintaining machine and test profiles
Hands-on experience with Flying Probe test systems (preferred)
Strong ability to read and interpret schematics, PCB layouts, and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
Proficiency with electronic test equipment, including oscilloscopes and multimeters
Solid problem-solving, data analysis, and root cause analysis skills
Experience with process mapping and structured troubleshooting methodologies
Working knowledge of boundary scan / JTAG
Detailed understanding of computer systems and subassembly functionality
Familiarity with ESD controls and electronics repair environments
Proficient written and spoken English
Intermediate Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting
Strong time-management, organization, and multitasking abilities
Exposure to Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing principles

Nice To Haves

Hands-on experience with Flying Probe test systems (preferred)
