About The Position

We are seeking a Consolidation Planner to join a high-performing,business-critical team in RJW's Logistics department. This role is responsiblefor the successful planning of our customers' orders to meet and exceed bothcustomer and major retailer standards. Our Retail Consolidation team sits at thecenter of all planning and decision-making at the order and load level. Our teamutilizes technology every day to enable the best possible service outcomes.

Requirements

• 0-2 years of logistics, supply-chain, 3PL -- we welcome recent college graduates to apply regardless of area of study
• Our ideal candidate will approach obstacles as opportunities to develop stronger, smarter processes and will possess a high-level of ownership towards career and professional growth
• Must be available to work on occasion in-office in Lockport, IL or Romeoville,IL when requested in advance (1-week notice)

Responsibilities

• Consolidation Schedulers are responsible for setting appointments for our most critical, complex shipments.
• This role has ownership over balancing outbound volume from RJW cross docks, schedules inbound shipments from our full-size warehouses to our cross docks and appoints complex final mile LTL.
• Consolidation Schedulers will collaborate closely with RJW Account Managers, IT teams, Warehouse teams, and Carrier teams.
• Professional communication always is a must.
• Consistently meet or exceed KPIs for appointment tasks assigned.
• Identify gaps in our existing processes and systems and work to develop and implement solutions.
• Provide feedback to your manager often; know when to escalate issues and/orfeedback.
• Present your decision-making processes around shipments, etc. to a manager-levelaudience.
• Take full ownership of all high-complexity scheduling activities.
