About The Position

As a construction document controls specialist, You`ll manage, organizing, and maintain all project documentation throughout the lifecycle of a construction project. You`ll ensure that project teams have accurate, timely, and accessible information, supporting efficient communication, compliance, and project execution. You`ll work closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to uphold document control standards and best practices.

Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, business administration, or related field preferred.
  • 2–5 years of experience in document control, construction administration, or project coordination.
  • Experience with construction documentation and workflows is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and administer the project’s document control system, ensuring all documents are properly logged, tracked, and archived.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing project documentation, including drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, and correspondence.
  • Ensure version control and proper distribution of updated documents to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support team members in using document control software and troubleshoot issues as needed.
  • Generate reports, logs, and dashboards to support project tracking and compliance.
  • Review documents for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project standards before distribution.
