About The Position

Are you eager to launch your career in civil construction estimating? As a Junior Estimator, you’ll work closely with our estimating team to prepare accurate, competitive bids for infrastructure projects. This is a hands-on role for someone with civil site construction experience who is driven to learn, grow, and contribute to high-profile projects.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Attend comprehensive kickoff meetings and pre-bid calls with owners
• Download bid documents, review specs, addendums, and revisions
• Prepare master quotes and input existing/proposed grades into AGTEK
• Conduct site visits and pre-bid meetings
• Perform takeoffs in Planswift and create exhibits for sod & concrete
• Coordinate and follow up with subcontractors and vendors for accurate pricing
• Input pricing and quantities into B2W and ensure scope coverage
• Adjust indirect costs, overhead, and profit margins
• Prepare complete proposals, calculations, and supporting documentation
• Attend bid reviews, process adjustments, and negotiate changes as needed
• Support senior estimators with change orders, project handoffs, and post-job reviews
• Deliver bids, attend openings, and record results
• May include other related tasks as assigned to meet organizational needs.
