About The Position

The Greenridge Group is a prime contractor and consulting firm specializing in Project and Construction Management for major public-sector agencies. We’re seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to support the transformation of Terminal 5 at LAX —a large-scale, high-visibility airport modernization program. In this role, you’ll lead construction execution in an active, operating airport environment , ensuring work is delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to LAWA’s quality standards. You’ll work closely with the Senior Project Manager, Interface Manager, Design/Build teams, and airport stakeholders , serving as a key point of coordination across concourse, headhouse, and site/civil scopes. Salary Range: $235K-$250K/Year - Dependent on Candidate's Qualifications

Requirements

  • 20+ years of construction management experience , preferably on airport or large infrastructure projects
  • Proven leadership on projects $100M+
  • Experience with Design-Build, CMAR, and Design-Bid-Build delivery methods
  • Strong understanding of the full construction lifecycle (pre-construction through closeout)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead in highly regulated, operational environments
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Aviation, Business, or related field (required)

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree (preferred)
  • Professional certifications a plus: PMP, PE, LEED, AAAE, AICP , or similar
  • Experience using Bluebeam
  • Familiarity with Project Management Information Systems (PM Web preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee day-to-day field construction activities for the Terminal 5 program
  • Manage scope, schedule, budget, safety, quality, and operational interfaces
  • Coordinate construction in an active airport environment with minimal disruption to operations
  • Ensure work complies with approved plans, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and ASRs
  • Partner with Design/Build teams to plan phasing, milestones, staffing, and logistics
  • Monitor labor, materials, equipment, and productivity to meet schedule and budget goals
  • Identify risks early and implement proactive mitigation strategies
  • Enforce strong health, safety, and environmental practices
  • Participate in coordination meetings with contractors, utilities, LAWA Operations, and stakeholders
  • Review and negotiate change orders and potential claims
  • Prepare clear progress reports for leadership and clients
