This position is responsible for leading construction focused digital delivery and technology solutions across large complex infrastructure projects and programs. The Construction Technology Team Lead will manage and mentor a team of construction technologists while defining technical strategy workflows and standards that support planning, design, construction and handover to operations. This role bridges construction operations, VDC, BIM execution, and emerging digital construction technologies, ensuring scalable secure and practical solutions are delivered to project teams and clients. The position plays a critical role in advancing HNTB construction technology capabilities, client value, and staff development.

Requirements

Associate’s degree or certificate in computer-aided design (CAD), BIM, VDC, or a related field and 7 years of relevant experience, or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field and 5 years of related experience, or In lieu of education, 9 years of relevant experience.
Demonstrated success leading construction focused VDC or digital delivery teams on medium to large complex infrastructure projects.
Proven experience supporting construction management, design-build, or alternative delivery projects.
Strong understanding of construction workflows, coordination, and field driven technology adoption.
Experience with BIM governance, automation, and construction data integration.
Strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
Experience with resource planning, budgeting and operational leadership.
Familiarity with digital transformation initiatives within the AEC industry.

Nice To Haves

Certifications in BIM, VDC, CAD, or Construction Technology.
Certifications in Project Management such as PMP or Agile.
Bachelors or Masters degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Geospatial Science, Data Science, or Computer Science.
Experience supporting owner and operator construction programs including aviation, transportation, rail, transit, or large civil infrastructure.
