What You’ll Do: The Consumer Lending Servicing Specialist provides support to Royal Credit Union team members and Members for all Royal's consumer loan products while providing exceptional, efficient, and quality service. Responsible for all servicing functions on consumer loans throughout their perspective lifecycle. This includes working with a variety of reports in several different software systems. Maintain a high level of knowledge and understanding of new and existing consumer loans and be available to answer procedural questions for all team members and assist as needed. Ensure accuracy and compliance with daily processes to perform assigned items such as financial transactions, lending reports, Member research and corrections. What’s Needed For This Position: High School Diploma or Equivalent Two years working in a financial environment, including loans and loan processing or equivalent experience Customer service experience Must be bondable Occasional travel within Royal’s geographic footprint Able to assess complex loan-related issues, identify root causes, perform accurate monetary and non‑monetary adjustments, and independently implement workable solutions in high-volume environments. Skilled in interviewing, listening, and resolving recurring concerns while supporting both Members and internal team members with clarity, professionalism, and empathy—even in stressful situations. Able to coordinate shifting priorities, meet strict deadlines, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and maintain meticulous attention to detail while producing accurate data entry and documentation. Demonstrates working knowledge of financial services, Microsoft Office products, and various loan servicing systems; readily learns new technologies; and effectively uses digital tools such as tablets, smartphones, and laptops. Works productively amid frequent interruptions, contributes positively to team environments, and follows regulatory, audit, and confidentiality requirements while upholding Royal’s core values. We’d Love To See: Two years working in a financial environment, including loans and loan processing or equivalent experience Two years of previous Royal Credit Union experience Work Schedule: Full-Time, working approximately 40 hours per week. Hours and shifts vary between 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday through Friday. Training: Prior to starting a normal work schedule, new Royal team members must attend Foundation Training at our Corporate Center in Eau Claire, WI from 9:00am - 4:30pm on Monday and Tuesday during their first week of employment. Out of town learners will be reimbursed costs related to travel and lodging.
