This position will be working in all weather conditions loading and unloading trucks, sampling products, and getting product to the proper location. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Strong ability to multi-task, prioritize and adapt to shifting priorities
Proficient problem solving and decision-making skills and the ability to think independently

Responsibilities

Organizes the offload of incoming trucks in a timely manner
Separates and organizes all loads as they are unloaded
Sample, process and mark all containers as directed and according to VLS permit and process
Immediately segregate oil, water, hazardous materials, and rejects to their designated areas as directed
Assist the processing of all materials
Properly dispose of all recyclable materials (drums & cardboard)
Cut and dispose of all plastic drums & totes
Assist with cleanliness of the ground, walls, equipment, tools, and facility
Abide by VLS RC policy with breaks, overtime, and days off. Notify your Supervisor of any changes
Be mindful as to equipment/building damage
Assist with the loading of all needed materials
Communicate to all departments any flow stoppage
Ensures all areas are neat, clean, and safe
Ensures the proper equipment is in the correct trailers
Cleans all internal empty trailers
