Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for you to join our team as a Contract Order Administrator 3 . This in-office position may be in Linthicum, MD; Annapolis, MD; Rolling Meadows, IL; Chantilly, VA; Charlottesville, VA; Fairfax, VA; or Woodland Hills, CA. This position offers the 9/80 schedule. What You'll Get to Do: The Contract Setup Representative (CSG) is responsible for entering contractual related data into the SAP Accounting System for the Mission Systems Sector (MS). Desired candidate should have a working knowledge of the One Source Sales and Distribution (SD) module of SAP. Candidate must have strong organization and communication skills and be able to work cohesively with other functional organizations within the MS Sector organization. The successful candidate will be conduit between Contracts, AR, Program Control and other functional areas. The work scope of the position includes, but is not limited to: Reviewing contractual documents for MS Sector's State, Local, Federal Government and Intercompany customers and the associated PS and SD templates for completion and accuracy prior to data entry being performed. The position requires participation in the setup meetings held by the Contract Representative and attended by all stakeholders.

Requirements

  • High School diploma with 5 years of work experience in data entry, accounting, contracts, or other business-related function. Will consider Associate's Degree with 3 years of applied experience OR Bachelors degree with 1 year of applied experience
  • 1 year experience with government contracting.
  • Experience using basic formulas in Microsoft Excel
  • 1 year experience using SAP or other ERP System

Responsibilities

  • Enter data related to incoming customer contracts for commercial, government, domestic and international customers into applicable business systems using defined computer software.
  • Compile data and prepare a variety of reports.
  • Validate data with applicable customer purchase documents and internal policies, procedures and business system requirements for completeness and accuracy.
  • Investigate questionable data and recommend actions to resolve discrepancies.
  • Notify appropriate departments of any new or updated data.
  • Maintain audit trails.
  • Perform a variety of activities in support of the functional areas of Business Management in furtherance of their goals and initiatives.
