About The Position

Looking to build real-world experience in government contracting and compliance? This internship provides direct exposure to contracts, grants administration, FFATA reporting, and financial tracking within a mission-driven environment. You will work alongside an experienced Contracts & Grants Administrator and gain practical skills that translate to careers in law, government, finance, or nonprofit administration. This is a hybrid, Pittsburgh-based internship with periodic in-person meetings, running 10–12 weeks with flexible scheduling and part-time hours up to 20 per week, where you will be part of a local intern group. The ARM (Advanced Robotics for Manufacturing) Institute is a Manufacturing Innovation Institute (MII) and is part of the Manufacturing USA® network. Requirements

  • Rising junior or senior in a related field such as PreLaw, Business, Finance, or Political Science
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Comfort working with data and spreadsheets
  • Clear communication skills and willingness to ask questions
  • Interest in compliance, contracts, or financial administration
  • Must be a US Citizen

Responsibilities

  • Support contract and subaward documentation and review
  • Assist with compliance reporting and tracking
  • Maintain organized financial and administrative records
  • Update and manage data in spreadsheets and CRM systems
  • Ensure accurate file management within OneDrive
  • Collaborate with team members in a hybrid work environment
