About The Position

Under the direction of the project supervisor, the Controls Technician will help with the installation, start-up, troubleshooting, commissioning, and servicing of Building Automation Systems (BAS).

Requirements

Associates degree in Electronics or equivalent experience
Valid driver’s license
Strong desire to learn a skilled trade
Ability to obtain security clearance
Ability to develop and maintain customer relationships
Strong written and communication skills
Must be able to handle physical requirements of the job which includes lifting, climbing ladders, stooping, and other demanding tasks

Nice To Haves

Experience in Building Automation is a plus

Responsibilities

Low voltage wire pull installation and termination
Reading and understanding of mechanical plans and wiring diagrams
Possess strong organizational skills
Work according to project timelines and processes
Ability to work on your own or as part of the team
Work in multiple environments from construction sites to tenant occupied office spaces
